I am going to be bringing you the play-by-play, along with analysis throughout the entire game! Feel free to comment about the game below! With no timeouts and only :32 this game is over. 11:32 PM ETFollowing the two minute warning, the Eagles continue to run with McCoy and wind out the clock. Eagles have this game in the bag. 11:28 PM ETSCHUAB FUMBLES! The strip sack from Nate Allen and that's a huge boost for the Eagles! That is essentially the game is over. Eagles just have to wind out the clock. 11:27 PM ETTexans pass over the middle to Johnson wide open. That's a 40 yard gain. 11:26 PM ETReid elects to throw on third and long, and the pass is missed. The Texans get the ball back at the 11. 2:57 left in the 4th. 11:23 PM ETTHE EAGLES DEFENSE HOLDS! Schuab throws into coverage and Walter could not bring in the throw. Schuab is pleading for any sort of penalty. Eagles plan on winding out the clock. 11:21 PM ETThe Texans make an interesting call and decide to take the timeout. They need one and on 4th down they elect to burn one. 11:20 PM ETWalter makes the catch and that makes it 4th and 5. This will be the end of the game if the Eagles defense holds. 11:20 PM ETDump off to Foster and he only gains 6. Offsides on the Laws, and it's 3rd and 15. 11:19 PM ETMikell had the interception and he just dropped it. 3rd and 20 for the Texans. 11:18 PM ET2nd and 20 and the Texans are going to be looking for Johnson deep. 11:17 PM ETGreat catch by Dreessen and that's a first down for the Texans. They are now running hurry up. Out of the hurry up Schuab throws to nowhere, but there is defensive holding. First down Texans. 11:16 PM ETSlaton fumbles the ball on the kick return and he is only able to get to the 20 yard line. The Texans have to get a touchdown on this drive if they want to tie the game later. 11:13 PM ETTOUCHDOWN EAGLES! Vick throws straight to Schmitt on the flat and he trots into the end zone! A great drive by Vick and a great challenge by Reid! The Linc is rocking! 11:11 PM ETRULING ON THE FIELD OVERTURNED! First down Eagles! 1st and goal! 11:08 PM ET3rd and 9 for the Eagles and Vick fires to Celek! That's a first down! Reid is going to challenge the call on the field! Reid is always a gambler. Here we go. 11:05 PM ETVick fires over the middle and Pollard almost intercepts it! However, it is dropped and he is on the field injured. 11:03 PM ETVick has a nice scramble but Dunlap is called for holding and the Eagles are moving backwards. 11:02 PM ETEagles continue to slam the ball on the ground and that's another 5 yard rush from Harrison! 7:45 left in the 4th. 11:01 PM ETJerome Harrison takes the handoff and rushes for a first down! The Eagles offense is moving! 11:01 PM ETMcCoy takes the screen pass and that is a HUGE pass! That's a 40 yard pass play and the Eagles are into Texan territory! Huge momentum play for the Eagles! 11:00 PM ETMcCoy starts off the drive with a three yard rush. 10:58 PM ETEagles start their next drive at the 30. The Eagles are going to be winding out the clock but also aiming for the touchdown to put this game out of reach. 10:57 PM ETSchuab throws into the dirt and the Eagles defense holds. Texans are punting. 10:56 PM ETTotal pass interference on Sims, not called. Eagles defense dodges a bullet. 10:55 PM ETOffsides on Bunkley and that gives the Texans 2nd and 10. Texans. The Eagles are going for a big defensive stop. 10:53 PM ETSchuab dumps off to Walter and Laws makes a nice tackle. Johnson makes a nice catch on the next play and that's a Texans first down. 10:50 PM ETTOUCHDOWN EAGLES! QB sneak with Michael Vick and the Eagles take the lead once again! There is 13 minutes left in the 4th and this is a huge touchdown for the Eagles! Texans look to retake the lead when they come back on offense! 10:47 PM ETScreen pass to McCoy and he is able to get the ball to the one yard line! Eagles are a short step away from taking the lead! 10:46 PM ETVick throws deep to Jackson! That's around a 50 yard throw! Eagles have 1st and 10. 10:45 PM ETVick runs the draw and is able to pick up two. The Eagles need to air this out. 10:43 PM ETVick tosses to Celek and that's a nice first down! End of the third quarter! Current Score: Texans- 24 Eagles- 20 10:42 PM ETMcCoy takes the handoff and get's around 5 yards. 2nd and 5. 10:41 PM ETCalvin returns to the 40. Great field position for the Eagles to put some points on the board. This is a clutch drive for Philadelphia. 10:38 PM ETTOUCHDOWN TEXANS! Foster bowls through some defenders and the Texans take the lead! Following a perfect drive from Schuab, the Texans are able to take the four point lead! Eagles look to rebound on their next drive. 10:36 PM ETFoster takes the handoff on first and goal and is knocked out of bounds after a six yard gain. 10:35 PM ETThe Eagles defense is just being walked on. McDermott needs to make some big changes now that the Texans are in the red zone. 10:34 PM ETWard takes the handoff and gets around 10 yards. The Eagles defense is essentially non-exsistent on this drive. 10:33 PM ETSchuab throws deep to Johnson deep and he is WIDE OPEN! Patterson just can't cover him. Huge first down for the Texans! 10:32 PM ETFoster takes the handoff on the draw and he is shut down. 3rd and 17. This is going to be a big stop for the Eagles defense. 10:32 PM ETPatterson just bull rushes Schuab and takes him to the ground! That's a loss of 7 yards. 10:31 PM ETSchuab fires over the middle again and connects with Anderson for another first down! The Texans are great on third downs this game! 10:30 PM ETSchaub is under a ton of pressure and he overthrows Walter. Good defense by the Eagles. 10:29 PM ETFoster takes the handoff on third and short and plows forward for the first down. Wow! He is reallyamazing. 10:28 PM ETFoster takes the handoff and powers forward for nine yards! He is all over the Eagles defense now! 10:28 PM ETSchuab fires deep to Johnson! Patterson makes a great defensive move and it's an incompletion. 10:27 PM ETINTERCEPTION TEXANS! Vick throws deep to Maclin and Allen is able to catch the under throw! The Texans still maintain the momentum! Huge play for the Texans and they are in a great position to score! 10:24 PM ETVick fires a screen pass to Celek for eight yards. Reid should just put a patent on that screen play and get it over with. 10:23 PM ETVick's opening play he scrambles for a first down and then some! Great rush around the corner! 10:21 PM ETVick and the the Eagles offense steps onto the field and is going to try to respond with a touchdown right back. In an effort to gain back the momentum Vick is looking to drive just like the Texans had. 10:18 PM ETTOUCHDOWN TEXANS! Great pass from Schaub to Foster and he powers his way into the end zone! Excellent drive from the Texans and that creates a huge swing in momentum! Great drive and the Texans are only three points behind! 10:16 PM ETThis time Schuab is able to convert and a nice pass to Casey. 1st down Texans. They are on a mission this drive. 10:15 PM ETOffsides call on Laws gives the Texans another shot on third down. 3rd and 3. 10:14 PM ETWalter is able to find some space and is only able to get a few yards. 3rd and 8. Big play for the Texans. 10:14 PM ETFoster takes the handoff and Bradley is right in his face. That's a loss of 3 yards. 10:13 PM ETSchuab runs the play action and hits Johnson wide open over the middle. Beautiful pass for a first down. 10:12 PM ETNice lob by Schaub and he is able to float it into Walter. Nice run after the catch and that's another Texans first down. The Texans are moving, the Eagles need to make a big stop. 10:11 PM ETFoster takes the handoff and is able to pick up three yards. Foster is starting to get into that groove. 10:11 PM ETPlay action pass to Foster and great down field vision and he is able to scramble for the first down. There is a holding call on the defense- The Texans decline. 10:10 PM ETFoster is handed the ball and Mikell hits him instantly. That is a loss of two. 10:10 PM ETTexans get the ball to start the 2nd half and the they are going to start the drive at their 20. 10:08 PM ETMVP's of the 1st Half-LeSean McCoy is beasting this game. He has two touchdowns and he is all over the Texans defense.Andre Johnson has only made one catch, but is led to a Texans touchdown. Foster has made some nice rushes, San Diego Chargers jersey
but he just can't seem to get the big gains.Dimitri Patterson has made a few nice tackles in the backfield and has been all over Arian Foster.Robert Quinn has played tight coverage all game, and has stopped some big plays from the Eagles' receivers. 09:56 PM ETEND OF THE HALF! Current Score: Texans-10 Eagles-20 09:55 PM ETSchuab takes a nasty fall on the ground and his helmet whipped on the ground. Schuab is able to walk off of the field. 09:54 PM ETWalter makes a nice catch and Texans have it at the 50 with :02 seconds left. 09:51 PM ETFIELD GOAL EAGLES! Akers is automatic from short range and the Eagles are able to pick up some points off of the Laws interception. :21 seconds before halftime. 09:50 PM ETVick fires to Celek and he just flat out drops it. Celek is just terrible this year. He has done nothing to contribute to the Eagles success. Akers drills the field goal! 09:49 PM ETOn 2nd and goal, Reid runs the draw play and gets a few yards closer to the touchdown. I don't think the Texans will give up two touchdowns off of draw plays. 09:48 PM ET1st and goal Eagles! Vick fires to Avant in the endzone and Quinn makes a great play to knock the ball away! Great defense. 09:47 PM ETVick dumps off to Maclin and that's a first down. Maclin against Allen is clearly a miss match. Vick is going to be exploiting that all game. 09:46 PM ETVick under throws to Maclin and that makes it 2nd and 10. The Eagles are looking to score again before the half. Vick is nearly sacked! He works his way out of the sack and rushes for 5 yards! Vick is all over! 09:45 PM ETEAGLES INTERCEPTION! Schaub ran the screen play and was under pressure and tossed the ball right to Trevor Laws! Laws has a huge interception! That gives the Eagles first and 10 on the 20! 09:44 PM ETOn third and long Schuab is able to hit Greessen over the middle and are able to pick up the big first down. Good throw and catch! 09:42 PM ETDesigned screen pass to Johnson and Bradley is right there to tackle him. That's the two minute warning. A good game so far. The Texans are facing a critical third and long once they get back on the field. 09:40 PM ETFoster takes the handoff and Patterson makes another huge tackle in the backfield! He is on fire this game. 09:39 PM ETSchuab takes a huge hit from the Eagles defense. Clearly late. Nice one Trent. That's an automatic first down. 09:39 PM ETTexans start off their drive with a false start. 1st and 15 from the 10. 09:37 PM ETA screen pass to McCoy and is able to find some room, but can't quite get enough for the first down. Eagles are punting. Good hold by the Texans defense. 09:36 PM ETVick fires towards Jackson and Quinn nearly has an interception that would have gone back for a touchdown. 09:36 PM ETVick fires to McCoy on another swing pass for a first down. Why not just do that all game? If the Texans won't cover it then just keep doing it. 09:35 PM ETHall picks up the first down with a dive. 1st down Eagles. 09:34 PM ETMcCoy takes a nice swing pass and gets a nine yard gain. 09:34 PM ETCalvin has had a number of good returns this game and he gets the ball out to 30. 09:31 PM ETTOUCHDOWN TEXANS! Schuab makes a great pass to Jones to complete the touchdown drive! Excellent drive from the Texans! Welcome back into the game Johnson. Good throw by Schuab as well. 09:30 PM ETAndre Johnson comes back into the game and he is wide open 60 yards down the field! Texans have about 10 yards away from the end zone. 09:28 PM ETFoster finally gets some blocking but Bradley makes a good tackle and that makes it 2nd and 5. 09:28 PM ETOffsides penalty on Cole, but Schuab is able to find Walter wide open for a first down. Great read by Schuab. 09:26 PM ETTexans start off with a handoff to Foster and Trent Cole makes a great tackle. They go right back to Foster and he is stopped again. 3rd and 8. 09:25 PM ETFIELD GOAL EAGLES! Akers drills the kick after the Eagles have scored on every single drive so far this game. 09:23 PM ETVick dodges two defenders and gets tackled short of the first down. Eagles are going to go for the field goal! 09:20 PM ETVick misfires on the WR screen to Maclin. That gives the Eagles a 3rd and 11 play. This is a great chance for the Texans to come up with a huge stop. 09:19 PM ETHarrison takes the handoff, and runs straight out of bounds. That's a one yard loss. 09:18 PM ETVick finds Maclin wide open again 20 yards down the field. The Texans secondary might as well not even be there. Vick and Maclin are just playing catch. 09:17 PM ETVick attempts to scramble and is sacked for a one yard loss. Good play by the Texans D-Line. 09:16 PM ETVick connects to Maclin wide open 40 yards down the field. Not a Texans defender within 10 yards. Beautiful pass from Vick and a great catch from Maclin. The Eagles are putting on an offensive clinic right now. The Texans defense needs to make a stop. 09:15 PM ETBREAKING NEWS: Andre Johnson is going to the locker room for medical evaluation. 09:15 PM ETThe Eagles are going to come out guns blazing on this next drive, just like they did against the Redskins. The bigger the lead the better, that seems to be Andy Reid motto now. 09:13 PM ETA terrible punt from Texans and the Eagles are going to start at the 30. Not a good rebound from the Texans. Their defense needs to come up with a big stop, so that they can stay in the game. 09:12 PM ETA great pass from Schuab and Dreessen just drops the pass over the middle. On third and 10 the safety blitz works to perfection and the Texans are punting. 09:11 PM ETPoor pass to Johnson and it was uncatchable. 09:10 PM ETAnother handoff to Foster and he picks up the first down. 09:10 PM ETFoster takes the handoff and he drives for a gain of nine yards. That was the Foster that I know. 09:09 PM ETSchuab and the Texans once again take the field, and this drive they are going for the touchdown. 09:07 PM ETMcCoy seriously is showing that he is one of the top RB's in the NFL and he has some serious moves. I think he maybe better than Westbrook. Might be to early to tell. 09:04 PM ETTOUCHDOWN EAGLES! McCoy takes the draw and runs straight up the middle for a touchdown! McCoy! 09:04 PM ETVick dumps of to McCoy and makes the right choice by not forcing the throw. Great decision by Vick. 09:03 PM ETHow good has LeSean McCoy been this season? I heard the faint sound of the NFL network announcers praising McCoy and calling him one of the best speed backs in the NFL. That's awesome. 09:01 PM ETMcCoy runs a cutback and is able to pick up the first down. That's the end of the 1st quarter! Eagles driving the ball! Current score: Texans-3 Eagles-7 09:00 PM ETThe Eagles try the same play they did on against the Bears, throw down the middle to Celek. Almost a touchdown but good coverage by Pollard. 08:59 PM ETVick runs out of the pocket on 3rd and 8! That's a first down! Great run and great vision by Vick! 08:58 PM ETA risky handoff to Jackson and is only able to get back to the line. That was a good hold by the Texans defense. 08:58 PM ETDraw play to McCoy and Cushing is all over it in the backfield. 08:57 PM ETVick hits Jackson on a curl route and that's another first down and a gain of 20. 08:56 PM ETAnother draw play and McCoy almost fumbles the ball away, falling on it. The next play Vick turns the corner and gains eight yards. 3rd and 3. 08:55 PM ETMcCoy takes the draw and get's a huge hole and gains about 11 yards. 08:52 PM ETCalvin has another good return and Eagles start near the 30. Let's see if the Eagles can make this an all offense game. 08:50 PM ETFIELD GOAL TEXANS! Following a nice drive the Texans get into field goal range and Neil Rackers drills the field goal. Good return from the Texans. 08:49 PM ETSchaub is under pressure and is forced to roll out and fires incomplete down the field. Great start for the Eagles defense. The Texans elect to go for the field goal. 08:48 PM ETAnother handoff to Foster and Bradley makes a good tackle and that's a gain on four. 08:48 PM ETFalse start call on the Texans. Then the pitch to Foster and they lose a yard. 2nd and 17. 08:47 PM ETSchaub finds Leach (FB) wide open over the middle and the Texans are in Eagles territory in a short two plays. This may be an offensive clinic. 08:46 PM ETReverse handoff to Johnson on the outside and that's a nine yard gain. Patterson gets flagged for a face mask on the tackle. Tack on 15 yards. 08:45 PM ETFirst play for the Texans ends in a dropped pass to Foster. I'm amazed they didn't just go deep to Johnson on the first play. 08:42 PM ETVick organizes a nearly flawless opening drive and the Eagles jump out to an early lead. Now the Texans have to respond and get at least three points. If the Eagles offense keeps moving the way it has the Texans have to keep up. 08:39 PM ETTOUCHDOWN EAGLES! Vick fires to McCoy on the rollout and he is wide open. A great opening drive from the Eagles and they are able to score. 08:39 PM ETChad Hall out of Air Force gets the wildcat and gets stopped on the 1 yard line. Almost a touchdown for the Air Force Veteran. 08:38 PM ETEagles try the rollout and Vick overthrows Avant out of the endzone. 08:37 PM ETVick fires to Maclin and that's almost a touchdown, but he is tripped up. 1st and goal Eagles. 08:36 PM ETVick gets pressured and makes a beautiful move to get out of the pocket and makes a 3 yard gain. 08:36 PM ETCelek makes a nice catch for the first down and just flat out bounces off of a Texans defender. That's a first down for the Eagles. 08:35 PM ETVick hits the quick read to Maclin and he slips. That makes it 3rd and 9. 08:34 PM ETFalse start on the Eagles and that makes it 2nd and 15. 08:34 PM ETPhiladelphia continues to show that they have the best screen game in the NFL and the pass to McCoy gains the Eagles 20. Now the Eagles are in Texans territory. 08:33 PM ETThere is only 11 men on the field and the Eagles and Andy Reid dodge a five yard penalty. 08:31 PM ETMichael Vick takes the ball and bombs the ball down to DeSean Jackson for a 30 yard gain! Great start for the Eagles passing game! 08:30 PM ETEagles elect to receive and Jorrick Calvin takes it in for a touchdown! But the Eagles are the Eagles and there is a holding call. So Eagles start on their 10. 08:29 PM ETAndre Johnson can lay down some haymakers. He has the final say in all football matters. 08:20 PM ETKind of a funny inactive- Matt Leinart is inactive this game. I guess maybe the Cardinals could use him back in Arizona. The Texans sure aren't using him. 08:16 PM ETYou can see in Vick's interview that he is pained. He is frustrated. I wish people would cut him some slack.
